The June 19, 2004 festival featured the following
entertainment:
 |
Doc Watson and Richard Watson
Doc Watson has had a profound influence in traditional, folk and
bluegrass music ever since coming to national attention in the
early 1960's. His recordings and performances have inspired
generations of aspiring guitarists to explore the mysteries of
his phenomenal playing.

Wayne Henderson's
top-notch finger-picking is a source of
great pleasure and pride to his friends, family, and neighbors
in Grayson County, Virginia.

 |
Thomas-DeLancey Trio
Linda Thomas (hammered dulcimer & piano), Dan DeLancey
(guitar wizard) and Don Pedi (mountain dulcimer). Their
performance promises to bring the good spirit and warmth of
music from a simpler time--a mix of Celtic, Ozark and old time
mountain music. All three musicians are competition
winners and are from the Kansas City area.

Rock Bottom Bluegrass Band
Like many bluegrass bands, Rock Bottom Bluegrass Band began as a
group of friends making music just for fun. What started as a Thursday
night “pickin’ session” evolved into a full-fledged
band effort, with performances in six states and the production
of five
recordings.
