The festival is a tribute to Wayne and his desire to preserve and continue the traditional string music of our area. Of course, we are non-profit & have a very small production committee, but a large number of wonderful volunteers the actual week end of the festival. We are extremely frugal with overhead expenses in order to direct as much money as possible toward scholarships. We have awarded more than $60,000 in scholarships over the years.
