The festival is a tribute to Wayne and his desire to preserve and continue the traditional string music of our area. We are a non-profit and have a very small production committee, but a large number of wonderful volunteers the actual weekend of the festival. We are extremely frugal with overhead expenses so we can direct as much money as possible toward scholarships. $502,950 will have been awarded as of 2024!
